Usage Form
The best effect in ACS METOX SE applications is obtained from the sprayings made when the real leaves of the weeds are seen, in rapid growth and not covered by the cereals. The effect of the drug is closely related to the amount of water to be used. The best effect is obtained when 20-40 liters of water are used per decare in the application with ground equipment. It is used with fan-shaped nozzle.
Cereals (Wheat, Barley):
It is used from the stage when weeds have completed their emergence until the end of the tillering stage of the cereal. If it is used after the stage when the cereal starts to stem, the desired effect cannot be obtained and it is not recommended. Do not apply after frost or if frost is expected at night.
Corn:
It is used when the corn plant has 3-5 leaves and weeds have completed their emergence. If the daily average temperature exceeds 15oC during and after application (7-10 days), neighboring broad-leaved crop plants may be damaged. Therefore, it is not recommended to use in the Mediterranean, Southeastern and Aegean Regions where temperatures are high during this period.
