Usage Form
Vineyard - Grapevine Moth: Grapevine moth application times are determined according to the prediction-warning system. For larvicide application, the number of butterflies caught in traps should reach a peak and start to fall, the effective temperature total should be 120 day-degrees in the 1st generation, twilight temperatures should be 15 0 C and above for 2 consecutive days, and this situation should continue in the following days. The effective temperature total should reach 520 day-degrees in the 2nd generation and 1047 day-degrees in the 3rd generation, and the vine phenology should be in the flower bud period in the 1st generation, the grape vine period in the 2nd generation and the beginning of sweetening in the 3rd generation. The application decision is made when the first larva hatch is seen. One application is made to each generation.
Pepper, Eggplant - Flower Thrips : In small-leaved plants, 25 plants and 2 leaves from each plant are randomly taken from one decare, in large-leaved plants, 1 leaf from each plant is taken from 25 plants and thrips , adults and larvae are counted under a binocular . Again, 2 flowers randomly taken from each plant are shaken on a white paper in a tray and the fallen thrips larvae and adults are counted. If the number of thrips per leaf ( adult+larva ) is 10 in small-leaved plants and 20 in large-leaved plants, control is carried out.
Tomato - Cotton Leafworm : When 1-2 newly opened egg packets or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants, walking in the diagonal direction, it is necessary to fight the pest. Since the result will be better when the application is made before the larvae disperse, care should be taken in the application time.
Cucumber, Gherkin - Leaf miner flies: In order to determine the emergence of leaf miner flies, one yellow sticky trap per decare is hung 10-15 cm above the plant. At least 30 plants are selected in one decare area. The lower, middle and upper leaves of these plants are collected and counted. If 10 larvae are detected per leaf on small-leaved plants during the count, a decision is made to apply. In the selection of plant protection products, plant protection products with the least negative effects on beneficial species should be preferred in order to protect beneficial species.
Potato - Potato Beetle: When the daily average temperature reaches 14-15 0 C, the field is entered from the diagonal direction and the eggs, larvae and adults of the pest are searched in the pits. Encountering any of its stages indicates that the field is infected. If an application is to be made against the first generation, it should be made when the first mature larvae (fourth stage) are seen on the plants. In case of application against the second generation, it should be waited for the egg hatching to be completed. In this period, since the damage that will occur depending on the insect density can be tolerated by the plant, application may not be necessary. However, as a result of the researches, the 20% damage caused by the potato beetle on the leaves of the potato plant increases up to 40% depending on the phenological stage and development of the plant.
Cotton - Cotton Leafworm : The leaves, combs, flowers and bolls of a total of 25 plants are checked, one plant every 10-15 steps. Application is decided when 0.5 larvae per plant or 2 egg packages or 2 newly opened egg packages are seen in 25 plants.
Cotton - Greenworm : All randomly selected plants in a length of 3 m are checked and greenworm eggs and larvae are counted, and when an average of 2 larvae are found in a row length of 3 m, the application is decided.
Cotton - Striped Leafworm : Application is made when 10 larvae or 2 newly opened egg packets are seen in 100 plants during the inspections.
Pistachio – Pistachio Psyllid : Application should be made when 20-30 nymphs are seen per leaf as a result of weekly counts on 100 compound leaves , when the majority of the eggs have hatched and before the first adult parasitoid hatches and before the sticky layer ( fumagine ) appears on the leaf surface.
