The global seed giant Limagrain has established a strategic partnership with Sector Tarım.
Sector Tarım, one of the leading agricultural companies in Konya, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the global giant Limagrain, particularly in the development and marketing of sunflower and corn seeds. The agreement was announced with the participation of seed companies operating in Central Anatolia.
Fuat Kunduracı, Chairman of the Board of Sector Tarım A.Ş., emphasized once again that he is always by the side of his distributors and farmers, explaining the process and purpose of building a 20,000 square meter smart production facility. Kunduracı stated that the opening will take place very soon and that they will continue to bring world brands to the country.
He noted that the agricultural sector, like the industrial sector, must prepare for competition, stating, “To do this, it is essential to develop new policies and implement radical transformations in the agricultural sector. From this perspective, with appropriate policy, qualified personnel, and strategy, Turkey will become a major agricultural center. For the efficient use of resources, there is a need for constant and reliable data, information derived from this data, ideas, and applications based on this knowledge. If we want our country to play a significant role in food security, we must make the most of our region's potential,” he added, stating that their company will continue as Dr. Sector with a new agricultural culture while strengthening its corporate structure.
Mustafa Yalçın, Director of Limagrain Tohum A.Ş., also mentioned that they are collaborating with strong companies in the agricultural sector and that this collaboration is focused on success, considering Sector Tarım A.Ş. as the only brand for potential cooperation.
