Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli announced that they will make a payment of 84.8 million lira to producers under the disease-free business support program. Payments will be deposited into accounts today (January 17, 2020). Minister Pakdemirli made the following statement regarding agricultural support payments: 'Under the disease-free business support program, we will make a total payment of 84.8 million lira for 323,247 animals across 1,253 businesses. Additionally, payments will be made for ear-tagging and animal waste support for our producers. Payments will be transferred to the accounts of our producers today.'
